I take forever with these things, but I feel good about it.

So Kate sent the Chemist’s Lament to one of her friends and he decided to remix it!
Sadly enough I did have to lower the quality of the .mp3 a little bit to get the song to even fit on Tumblr.
Finally finished recording, harmonizing, mixing, everything with Chemist’s Lament. I’m sure it’ll make it’s way over to my Youtube soon, but it can sit here for a little bit.

So my friend Kate and I gave each other a musical challenge. We both chose one of our favorite songs the other person didn’t know and send them the lyrics; no band name, no title of the song, no nothin’ else.
Then that person had to do a Lyric Cover and just write what music and melody they thought fit the words.
I gave Kate Map Of Your Head by Muse to do and it turns out she gave me Hardwire by Metric.
My head pretty much exploded when I found out what the song originally sounded like.
So one of my favorite people is back in the area for the Summer so we decided that we’d write some music together. We put this together in a couple of hours
Complete with unprofessional giggling at the beginning and end because why would I ever edit that out?
